Kingdom of Bahrain is located centrally on the southern shores of the Arabian Gulf.  It comprises a group of some 36 islands, with a total land area of about 717.50 sq. km. The largest of these islands is the capital city named Manama. It accounts for nearly 85% of the total area of the Kingdom.

Population of Bahrain is about 650,604 which have been estimated in year 2001 by Central Informatics Organization. They are mixed of Bahraini & non-Bahraini residence with different socio-cultural context.  Islam is the country’s official religion. Arabic is the official language although English’s is widely spoken.

The currency is Bahraini Dinars (US$1=BD0.376) Climate is characterized by a mild winter with little rain and hot summer. The weather is generally pleasant during the period from October to April.
